Emergency dentist for Pine Bush, NY
We keep same-day appointments open every weekday for dental emergencies — a bad toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, facial swelling, or a lost filling or crown. Call (845) 713-4822 before you set off from Pine Bush so we can have a chair ready when you arrive about ten minutes later. We see emergencies by appointment rather than as walk-ins, so phoning ahead genuinely matters.
While you’re on the way:
- Knocked-out tooth: hold it by the crown, not the root. Put it back in the socket if you can, or keep it in milk.
- Swelling or fever: tell us when you call. Facial swelling needs same-day attention.
- Broken tooth: rinse with warm water and bring any pieces with you.
- Pain: over-the-counter pain relief is fine. Don’t hold aspirin against the gum.
Outside our hours, the nearest 24-hour emergency room is Garnet Health Medical Center, 707 E Main St, Middletown. More on what counts as urgent: dental emergencies and chipped or broken teeth.

Dental implants, full-arch and All-on-4
Implants are the treatment Pine Bush patients most often travel to us for. An implant is a titanium post placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Once the bone has grown around it — usually three to six months — it carries a crown, bridge or denture and behaves like a natural tooth rather than something sitting on the gum.
Everything happens in our Walden office: planning and imaging, any extraction that is needed, bone grafting where the jaw has to be built up first, placing the implant, and fitting the final crown or denture. You are not referred out to a surgeon partway through and then sent back, which is the usual reason implant treatment drags on elsewhere.
When most or all of the teeth in a jaw are failing, a full-arch restoration replaces them with a fixed bridge carried on four to six implants. All-on-4 uses four, with the two at the back angled to use the bone still there, which often avoids grafting. The bridge is screwed in — it does not come out at night, needs no adhesive, and does not cover the roof of your mouth the way a full denture does. Implants can also anchor a denture you already have, usually with two to four per jaw.
Before anything begins you get a written plan setting out each stage, how long it will take and what it will cost. If an implant is not the right answer we will say so — a bridge or a partial denture is sometimes the better choice, and a tooth that can be saved should usually be saved.

Insurance, Medicaid and payment
We accept Aetna PPO, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, EmblemHealth PPO, Fidelis Care, UnitedHealthcare PPO, Metrodent and Metrodent Premier, DentaQuest plans, CSEA dental plans, and Medicaid plans administered by DentaQuest. Coverage depends on your plan, so our team checks your benefits before treatment starts and tells you what you’ll owe.
We also take all major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and CareCredit or Cherry financing for treatment that insurance doesn’t cover. Implant treatment runs over several months, and we set out the cost of each stage before you commit to the first.
What we don’t offer
- Young children. We treat teens and adults. Younger children are better served by a pediatric dentist.
- Botox and facial aesthetics. We are a dental practice only.
- Evening and weekend visits. We’re open Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with lunch from 1 to 2.

Your first appointment covers an exam, any X-rays we need, and a written plan with the cost of each step before treatment starts. Bring your insurance card, a list of medications, and any recent X-rays from a previous dentist — we can request them for you if it’s easier. You can fill in the patient forms before you arrive, and our first appointment checklist explains what to expect.
